About Kendall Howard

Our Mission

Kendall Howard's mission has always been to find a better way. We accomplish this through our evolving symbiotic relationships between our customers, employees, vendors, the community and ourselves. This fundamental idea ensures that we will always succeed and flourish.

  • For our customers, the answer is yes! ...now what's the question?
  • Our employee philosophy is simple - we all live and die with each other's successes and failures.
  • Our unwavering loyalty to our vendors ensures a complete and dependable supply chain.
  • We are proud to support our local communities as they continue to support us.

As Kendall Howard continues to lead the industry, we will stay the course and never compromise these core values.

Our Story

What began as an idea in the spring of 2000 has shaped and changed the way companies and installers look at IT Furniture, Server Racks, and Rack Accessories. With a commitment to exceeding our customer's expectations we began by listening to what Installers, IT Managers, and Network Engineers were saying about racks and IT furniture. Rather than doing it the way everyone else does, we charted a path to manufacture more functional, cost effective, innovative products and solutions that keep up with evolving technology and compete with the flood of imported products. Some people wondered if it could be done. After all, racks and IT Furniture are only a small component of your IT infrastructure. At Kendall Howard we consistently prove that you actually can have the best product, with the best customer service, at the best price.

We exceed our customer's expectations every day by:

  • Offering a Limited Lifetime Warranty on most products
  • Superior packaging to reduce the risk of damage in transit
  • Same day shipping for all orders received by 3:30 PM CT
  • Product deployment (kitting) for large multi-location deployments
  • Quality American-made products
  • Unprecedented customer service
  • Smart intuitive products making your job easier every day

Our Team

The Kendall Howard team is a fantastic family to be a part of. We all take the philosophies, values and goals of Kendall Howard very seriously, and enjoy the long lasting relationships that we continue to make with our customers. Whether we work in the production facility or are a part of the executive management team, we all take pride in our work. With that said, we thought it would be nice to put a face with a name. Click on any one of us below to read a few fun facts about each of us. Please check back periodically as we will continue to introduce all of the Kendall Howard team members. There's a lot of us, so be sure to keep checking!

Samantha AKA: Sam I Am, Order Entry Queen

Order Entry Coordinator

What do you like most about your job?

I love when I see a big order come over that our sales team has been working on. We have a "yahoo" button that I get to sound it over the intercom for really big orders. It's awesome to see everyone get a big smile while the "yahoo" rings through the building.

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why?

Snow White. Well, she is pretty awesome, and if I stayed out of the tanning bed, I would look just like her.

What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life?

"Heart like mine" by Miranda Lambert

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

That would have to be Jack Daniels - in moderation of course!

Jenifer AKA: J Money

Accounting Manager

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy bringing clarity to those involved in any situation that is not black and white. I'm an accountant, there is no gray! What I love most about my job is looking back and seeing what we have accomplished, and knowing I was a part of it.

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why?

Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Ariel lives under the sea while rocking some awesome red hair, and killer fins. She is curious to explore new things but, at the end of the day she still has her loyal friends. Eventually she gets bored with the ocean scene, and decides to chase after her love, who just happens to be the prince. Oh and the castle by the ocean? I'd be just fine living there too!

What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life?

When I think back at my soundtrack it's of memories that correspond with songs. The song "Tomorrow" from the musical Annie came to my mind first. I used to stand an inch away from the TV and sing my heart out to the song. Most importantly, my Grandpa still sings "Tomorrow" to me at our family gatherings. I also am proud to state I am a Pink Floyd and Laura Branigan baby. Although I am not proud to admit, I also know every word to any N Sync song created too. Basically anything with a good beat that I can sing my heart out too could be included.

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

A loaf of bread WITH a knife.

Danny AKA: Chuck Norris

Production Manager

What do you like most about your job?

Deadlines! I thrive when the environment gets chaotic. I love strategizing with the supply chain and the department heads to tackle challenges that most people would find dreadful and overwhelming. I am lucky to be surrounded by individuals who are equally as passionate about producing at a high level under stressful conditions. I also have a tremendous supply chain and great relationships with meticulously selected vendors that share our values and are highly motivated by the satisfaction of our customers.

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why?

King Midas. Why?

  • If you're not up to date with the precious metal market gold is currently hovering around the $1,600 per ounce mark.
  • Kendall Howard would be able to replace its premium steel with a more dense, illustrious, malleable substrate at no additional cost to its customers! Might be a little more expensive to ship on the front end (dimensional weight) but you could probably buy a yacht in exchange for your 42U Cabinet's melt value.
  • I have always wanted solid gold tile in my man cave at home, completely impractical unless you literally have the "Midas Touch".

What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life?

"Gimme Shelter" by Rolling Stones
"Don't Forget" by Atmosphere
"Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin
"Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

Nothing, there was nothing good before sliced bread, it is a scientific fact. Nice try though, I knew there would be a trick question on this!

Stephanie AKA: Phanie or Step-on-me

Product Manager

What do you like most about your job?

I love working with installers and IT technicians to develop products that solve the problems that they face in their everyday lives. I love a challenge. When someone comes to us feeling like nothing will solve their problem, and together we find a perfect solution - that is the best feeling!

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why?

Sleeping Beauty, why? Well, she kind of has it made. She is beautiful. She can sing. She has three fairy god-mothers (which pretty much spoil her). She can do fun wardrobe changes in seconds (Pink....blue...pink). But, most of all, I LOVE NAPS!

What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life?

"Moves like Jagger" by Maroon 5
"Gangnam Style" by Psy
"Come Together" by Beatles
"Don't Stop Believing" by Journey

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

Cheesecake! Oh how my world would be a dark and dreary place without cheesecake!

Max AKA: Danger

Sr. Business Developer

What do you like most about your job?

The free long distance calling! Just kidding! I enjoy helping customers all over the world configure the perfect solution for their business.

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why?

I would have to say Stretch Arm Strong for a number of reasons. No longer would I miss a single second of a Vikings game to get something out of the refrigerator. In fact my stretching ability might even land me a spot on the roster as a starting wide receiver. I know Christian Ponder could use a wide out with super human abilities to catch his grounders, over throws and wobbly spirals.

What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life?

"Folgers Commercial" by Rockapella
"Up up and away" by Kid Cudi
"Free or dead" by Atmosphere
"Gold" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
"Lucky" by Radiohead

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

Fire - No fire, no bread.

Joshua AKA: Yes MAN!

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

What do you like most about your job?

Selling quality products that are made in the USA, being able to believe in what I do, and being able to say Yes!. I am blessed I get to do something I love.

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why?

Iron Man! It would be a whole lot more fun to travel. No more airports, no more bag searches, no rental cars, and I could come home every night for dinner. I would get more time with my family as well as see all of my customers more often. One day in New York, the next in Oklahoma, all without the pain of actually getting on airplane. Plus, my kids would think I was the coolest dad around. I think I need to get with the engineering department on this one!

What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life?

"Proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood
"Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osborne
"Whoop There It Is" by Tag Team
"The Hip Hop Hoe Down" by Miley Cyrus
The theme from Star Wars
The theme from Gilligan's Island

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

Comedy - Everyone needs to laugh and my favorites are Walter, Peanut, Bubba J, Achmed, and even José Jalapeño on a Stick.

Gloria AKA: GG

Sr. Sales Support Representative

What do you like most about your job?

I love being able to provide the best possible solution to our customers.

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why?

Speedy Gonzales! Then I could use my speed and intelligence to help my fellow (mice) team members. Arriba YEEEEHAAAA!!!

What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life?

"Born in the USA"
"Don't Stop Believing"
"Best of Times"
...and we can even go with the obvious "G-L-O-R-I-A"!

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

SUNSHINE!!!
